Disco 2 CD changer unit

2002 discovery td5 auto
Radio cassette player xqd c00050 pma, 22dc597/6cl, rg597w21117009 fitted (held in by two grub screws. 2.5 hex).
Thinking of fitting an alpine CD changer xqe 100240, brand new £60.
I think this head unit will support the CD changer
Looked under drivers seat and no connector 0912 found, connectors 0911 & 0912 mentioned in electrical Library and described. In connectors. (Without images) but not shown on wiring diagram.
As this was not a factory fitted option,, only dealer fitted is the wiring hidden away somewhere or do you have to wire it in yourself.
If so would be grateful if anybody has any tips on doing it.

Quite frankly, if the CD auto-changer wasn't factory fitted, I wouldn't even bother with trying to retro-fit one. There are newer and in my opinion better ways of introducing your music such as using a .mp3 player. You'll then be able to take your whole music library with you.
There are a number of ways of doing it; injecting directly or indirectly into the FM aerial, getting an auxiliary input jack fitted to your head unit, even using one of those cheapy cassette tape things, the choice is yours.

DAB reception is great and I can receive calls hands free and play music from my iPhone. Job done!
