CD cassette removal

Hi, I am new to Land Rover and to posting questions on line.

I have just bought a 3 door Freelander with a Radio cassette player with multichanger under the drivers seat.

I cannot get the cassette to eject, the system first stated No Cd or something, and after fiddling with the 'door' and the button it now tells me it 'no cassette' but it seems to be stuck?

Any help or advice would be usefull.

Unfortunatly not very practical person despite my 60 years!!

It's a common fault. I thought there is an "eject" hole on there? Sure it was in thee user manwell; but it sounds like yu brined it now .

Just slide a credit card or similar in and over the top of the cartridge, it will trip a micro switch and the cartridge will pop out, a known problem with Philips cd multi players.

Thank you for the swift advice unfortunatly it did not work, seems it it is well and truly jammed.

Ill have a look to removing the multichanger.
