Hi I have recently purchased a CB for my 90. Which channel is the norm to communicate on? are there different channels for off roading etc.

Take your pick of the channels, so few people use CB it doesn't really matter. However, the normal " meeting ' channel is 19 .
For travelling in a convoy, you will find CB's invaluable.

In his fingers? That's a bit odd. Usually people have them in their hands, or their mouths, or if you're that way inclined your bum
me and my mate use 16 (4x4) but as said it's a take your pic really but obviously if your on channel 1 and everyone else is on channel 2 your not going to be talking to anyone :bolt:just make sure to agree a channel beforehand with anyone you want to be talking to during your drive. or if you want to try and find someone to talk to your probably better off on her or a social media site as there is so few people that use cb everyday now that even driving from cambridge to milton keynes and having mine on scan I found no-one

Traditionally, the channel where you intially contact other users. Breaking channel because of:-
"Breaker, breaker. One-Nine for a copy" Possibly followed by "Got your ears on, c'mon?"
The response might be "Breaker shouting for a copy, take it up to 23" (up or down to a suitably quiet channel.) This was back in the day when CBs were busy
