Very Helpfull you posting this here. I mean it will do our case the world of good...
Dunno, it does show that the majority of us DO give a ****.
The "Marshall" stickers kind of hint he probably knows a lot about where he can and can't drive
Don't you worry-Mr plod has been informed
The nails were a joke-as that would also be breaking the law.
If he does see this thread then maybe he'll think twice next time. If my wifes horse has her or my son off because of someone is driving where they shouldn't then I won't be best pleased - would you?
I won't be posting the reg as that's pikey ammo nor have I given the police the reg.
I think a face to face is more likely to produce a "fukk off prove it" than "oh sorry"
Sorry to but in but didnt you say it was a footpath????The nails were a joke-as that would also be breaking the law.

I was thinking the same thing and lets face it most ramblers don't give a crap that most of us are law abiding, they are selfish and want the lanes closed to all 4x4's. Even when we bend over backwards to keep people happy we still get harassment on legal byways and talking about this subject on a public forum does add fuel to the fire, things like this should be dealt with as a private matter, before there are no driveable byways left.
He could even have been turning round and reversed back to let him pass. He could have been exiting an ajoining field on business or even had the land owners permission. A simple quiet word would have done im sure, Could have proved quite innocent. As for the number plate mine is very small due to the modded bumper, I have a correct sized one on the roof rack but some times remove the rack for lanning, plus its easy to lose one off road and time consuming getting replacements straight awayExactly, give the guy the benefit of the doubt and speak to him first he might be a decent guy just unaware of what he's done. Running to the police over this is just wrong.
quite agree no need for any of this just a word with the chap would of done no a public forumHe could even have been turning round and reversed back to let him pass. I will have one last say on the matter just to clarify some things.
-The guy looked me in the eye, **** himself & reversed off../is that simple enough for you all to understand.
-I know the landowner-the driver did not have any permission.
-No i wouldnt be riding my ****ing horse along a footpath but if i was riding up -the ****ing bridleway 200yds away & the guy was there my point is valid in the same way.
-Yes i cant be ****ed with the flak---what do you people want?
YOU MOAN WHEN PEOPLE IGNORE THE HIGHWAY RULES MAKING "US" LOOK BAD & YOU ALSO MOAN WHEN SOMEONE PUTS IT ON A PUBLIC FORUM-WELL MAYBE HE'LL GET THE MESSAGE A BIT BETTER IF WE EMBARRASS HIM A BIT COS I CAN GUARANTEE THE OLD BILL WILL DO F-ALL ABOUT IT AS USUAL.
PLEASE ALL ACCEPT MY APOLOGY FOR UPSETTING YOU BY NOT HAVING A WORD IN HIS EAR--WHEN HE'S KNOCKED SOMEONE OVER THATS A BIT F*^k!N LATE ISNT IT
DICKHEADS
