need to order new catalytic converters for my 1997 4.6 hse v8 petrol but some on flee bay say none obd my car has a obd plug under passenger side does it matter if i order one with or whithout obd whats the diffrence none obd are cheeper i do have lambda sensors.

Confused....
OBD (On Board Diagnostics) has nothing to do with the type Catalytic Converters....
Some P38 (Later ones) have 4 Lambda sensors - one on each branch before the Cats and one on each branch after...the early model only has one pair (one on each branch).
Take a gander under your Rangie, and it should be pretty obvious which version you have....
Not sure where the reference to OBD comes from when discussing Exhausts - paste the link so we can take a gander - else if that is their level of technical knowledge with Rangies and Exhausts - move on and find some more from somewhere else....

Get the one to suit your vehicle. The one described, on the face of it should be correct. Check your Lamda size. However OBD has nothing to do with it. All Range Rover P38s have an OBD socket for what bloody good it is without special equipment. As Ant says later ones 99 on have four Lamdas.

You may find the picture on the bay is just a generic picture....not actually of the Rangie Cats..

Says on the ad they are for 12mm sensors they will already be fitted with bosses.
