Have you stopped the condensation from the roof then?
Yes, Bob. When it was rebuilt I used the noise deadening stuff but condensation still appeared at all of the joints. However, having covered the roof and top of the lining with closed cell insulation (B&Q) I have had no issue with condensation from the roof. That is not to say that she is totally dry; the doors just let rain straight in - a job for Summer.
The window blanks had three layers of closed cell insulation glued on before the carpet was added. I intend to cover the remainder of the rear but not without fully insulating it first. I would never carpet the floor because, as you imply, it would act like a sponge!!!

I like the B&Q stuff to insulate it. I'm gunner do ours and was planning sleeping mats but the foil stuff is probably better.
What glue have you used for the insulation and the carpet please?

I started using the evo stick stuff from Halfrauds but then used the glue from the coy that I got the carpet from:

However, they say that one tin does a square metre - I think it is more like 3 tins per 2 squ mtrs.
It is very easy to use.

Was it their High Temp Spray Adhesive?
Yes that's the stuff - but I used more than they said I would. When I do the door cards I intend to order 3 tins for each 2m. The Halfrauds glue is good but is £7 a tin.
It's their normal closed cell insulation, about a tenner for a role. I bought 2 roles, and still have some bits left. You'll see in the pic that I went mad with the tin foil tape - save your money and don't use it, just ensure that the pieces either overlap or butt against each other tightly.

I just did the same in the back of my 90.
Used 3mm closed cell foam, then carpet, wish i used somthing thicker but it does the trick. More sound insulation and yes it does keep heat in better!
Also using some 10mm inside the doors, a pillars and sides.
Got mine off ebay, self adhesive.
