OK, so opening myself up to massive abuse here for this question, but had anybody any recommendations for carpet (yes carpet) floor mats for my D2. There are plenty of on-line suppliers offering a range of quality / colour etc "tailored" for the D2, but would gratefully take any suggestions if forthcoming. Equally, I understand if nobody wants to admit to having purchased these......
 
Well in case you find them...do you have the runbber version now? Mine came without the driver one, so won't mind releaving you of that :)

@neilly - many thanks for this - I'll have a search on the internet and see what I can dig up.

@RBoshuis - you're welcome to them once new have been sourced - but the rubber ones I currently have must be for a D3 / D4 as they are not a very good fit which is one of the reasons I'm looking for new.
 
Taken a punt on an on-line retailer with a bewildering range of options, but settled for black! Will see what £45 buys you in a couple of days when they arrive.
@RBoshuis - I'll take that photo now and post....
 
Here you go - was going to hold off until the little beauties were in my posession and I could have given an assessment of the fit and finish.... https://www.carmats-uk.com - apparently come wth a fixing on the driver's side, and I've paid extra for the rubber heel mat. Big selection of colours and edging trim. I'll post once arrived....
 
Here you go@RBoshuis - and whilst you are looking at the mats - check out the dry footwell.... I may (and I am keen to not tempt fate) have just purchased a very rare thing.... 2 sunroofs and no leaks....... :cool: Mats are yours if you want them (passenger and driver side) once the carpets turn up!
