Carbs - I'm after a favour

Hi,

I’ve written a book on the Rover V8, mainly as fitted to TVRs. I’ve been asked lots of times to extend it to other cars graced with the engine. Despite working on a number of RV8s I’ve got little info on carb setups. I'm in my dotage so have worked on carbs over the years and I'm up to speed on them.

What I’m after are photographs of RV8s with carbs, any images of carbs stripped and any information on carbs specific to Land/Range Rovers.

Every contributor gets a copy of the book - books in reality, there are three.

It'd totally be worth having a chat with Burlen (aka SU Carbs, aka Zenith Carbs, aka ... well you get the idea) in Salisbury - I bet they'd be interested in helping with that, in exchange for a nice plug (in the way that the LR Haynes manuals do with their contributors), and you won't get better opportunity to see carb refurbs and the peculiarities of the various carbs used than you will there.

Sounds like a great project.
Don't know if these are of any use, HIF44 SUs on 1986 RV8 3.5 in my former factory fit 110.
