Ex Army bods are often extremely sought after by recovery companies cos they don't mind bad weather and know how to think outside the box. With the methods and calculations used by the military ingrained in yer bonce you'd be great for undertaking the 'incident manager' section of the IVR if ya haven't aready done so.
Allready in the pipeline. The IVR come to our annual re-union dinner and give presentations. Someone somewhere has released that some of us thick squaddies are not to bad at our job.....Its funny though we as recovery mechanics are in ore of civilian equipment, and civillians are in ore of military equipment. When I retire from the army I need a job I enjoy
and I enjoy recovery, nothing is ever the same (well normal hitch ups are) and I like playing wea ma big Tonka toys....this fast become a recovery thread
