Yep seen that. Only fail was air suspension capable of lifting front or dropping rear first. But it may have been a manually operated system.
 
I saw it too.

I couldn't work out (or perhaps missed) which of the big warehouse suppliers helped with the spare parts. It all seemed to be Brit Part stuff so I wonder how the vehicle is doing now...
 
Well since it's almost always free advertising and there was indeed nothing else to see I assumed it was at the BritParts plant. Is the quality of their products really that bad? The difference in price between them and oem is very big..
 
I have no experience what so ever (yet) of Brit Part bits. But the "word on the net" seems to be less than complimentary.

I have a feeling the big place where they went to fix the Range Rover was Paddocks - but I don't know for sure. I was kind of hoping a friendly Dutch chap who was actually concentrating on the program would be able to tell me (as this English chap was multi-tasking looking for deals on the internet at the same time as he saw that episode)
 
Well I was really concentrating on the program but couldn't make up any other brand name than BritParts. I order at Paddocks frequently so I was watching closely..but nope

britpart is the largest independent lr wholesaler by far and are used by lr dealers too,its likely much genuine ,oe,oem and other branded parts as well as pattern comes through them
 
I just watched an old Top Gear DVD where they blew up a P38. you see the first late-model silver P38 (but with early cloth seats) but on an R reg, then the car they use for the feature, which gets shot to bits, then blown up, is an early model (but with the later seats) but on the same reg plates. not a very convincing deception boys!
 
I spotted the air suspension not being standard so tweeted fuzz to find out what they used - apparently it was an American Air ride system. Bit odd as they like to keep thing original.
