Taller tyres means they will scrub the chassis with slightly less turns off the steering wheel than smaller tyres would
First off, probably ignore most of the replies thus far in this thread. They are utter nonsense and frankly unhelpful.i have a lwb 2a landy and i would like to know if i can add 30mm wheel spacers and to do something with the suspension so it can have more ground clearance! (noob)
Depends, but you can certainly fit larger tyres before this is an issue and get more steering than a stock setup too.Taller tyres means they will scrub the chassis with slightly less turns off the steering wheel than smaller tyres would
For all the reasons you go on to list laterHow so?
I haven’t listed anything that claims they shouldn’t be as you phrased “tricking out” a Series over a Defender. What exactly are you claiming you can or can’t do to one or the other that means it isn’t worthwhile to a 109?????For all the reasons you go on to list later
So what happened when you tried to ignore yourself???Just found the ignore button on this forum.
The video speaks for itself.
Yet plenty of people run spacers no problem. I think you are trying to prove a point by 2+2 = 5Agreed, but they also take off the wheel spacers and fit smaller tyres to reduce the loads.
I reckon he's got about 4.1.Yet plenty of people run spacers no problem. I think you are trying to prove a point by 2+2 = 5
