Hi all

Me again! Recently fitted canvas cover which has been great but during recent hard rain noticed that water is spraying in to the rear from the eyelet of the rear flap either side all over my new rear seats. đź«Ł

A minor inconvenience but wonder if there should be a rubber grommet or similar or this is just the way it is? Have managed to make the rest of the landy as watertight as possible (save for a dribble every now and again into the passenger footwell from the door top bolt?!?) which I am more than happy with 🤣

I'm not sure if it will help what you have explained, but after a few times of getting wet the whole hood shrinks by about 2%. This then causes the whole hood to become taught and fit snugly.

It's a shame exmoor trim don't make the rope thicker. You could try some insualtion tape or heat shrink around the rope to plug the eyelet.

I fitted an o ring on my rope, just pull it down to the eyelet, it stops the water running down the rope.
That’s a good idea. I’ll do that. Was looking at fitting a rubber grommet in otherwise
