Hi, all, trying to change the hald shaft oil seal behind the stub but no matter what I do, it won't come off. Any suggestions please?
Cheers.
Cheers.
OK so I have finally got it off, but I am very confused - there seems to be no seal behind the stub? Everything was for nothing!!! I was lead to believe that was the cause of the axle leaking inside of the brakes...
I would have thought that would have been your inner or outer hub seal rather than the stub axle sealOK so I have finally got it off, but I am very confused - there seems to be no seal behind the stub? I see, thanks for clearing that up.If drum brakes no seal, your problem is the seal on the inner side of the hub itself.
Ouch,:crutch:I see, thanks for clearing that up.
I managed to send a pair of long nosed pliers straight through my hand in the skin between my thumb and finger. trip to the medical centre. hopefully will be healed a bit by sunday
