Can't change cd !

Hi all.....
Bought a freelander recently 01 plate....found cd changer...loaded in 4 discs but will only play first one ?
Pressing numbers on head unit to change disc but no joy....any ideas ?

What's it say on the head unit when you ask for it to change to another other disc?

It plays disc one....pressing 1 - 6 does nothing....nothing changes on screen other than showing Time of track.

Can you eject the disc holding cassette.

The insides are on a spring damper,which can become unbalanced or unhooked.
If you take it apart you will see what I mean.

I got fed up with mine & bought a Pioneer 6500 DAB with a USB port.
I wouldn`t go back.

Yes it will eject....the previous owner left one disc in there....and as only one works it makes me think there a fault more so....

So it plays the original disc left in by the old owner?

make sure you are loading the cassette the right way up, pushing it all the way in and also sliding the door closed. Took me a few attempts first off.

Thanks for advice guys....I thinks it's the head unit buttons....pushing them hard and wiggling will make it change....so bad connection...maybe too make cockpit spray bunged them up.....cheers All
