Can some one pleas help

Grate thanks for the info I will do that wean I get the parts I have ordered would you say if its rings the cost of fixing or a second hand full engine as i have seen a full engine for sale for £500 with 1 years warranty what do you thanks as if it's the rings if the cylinder is ok then i am locking at no more then 400 in parts but if the cylinder is done then it's no pont what do you think thanks

With a full engine for 500 if its got everything on it you have a load of parts to play swapses with,
a compression test would tell you then go from there.
