Yes providing you swap some stuff from the Bosch engine to the GEMS engine.
You'll have to swap the plenum, camshaft gear/cam position sensor, flywheel, crank position sensor, knock sensors on the GEMS engine to the ones on the bosch engine. Probably a few other bits and pieces that I've forgot but it's pretty easy.

Thought the 4.6 had a different gearbox? Will it take the torque?

4.6 uses the HP24; 4.0 uses the HP22; if auto, torque convertor may also be different depending on year.
