can i have a snorkel on my v8

Ill have to dig out the test chart from the dymo the last 3.5 on SU's my bro buiilt up when it was finally jetted correctly twas bloody awsome by all accounts certainly much better than most of the uncared for shagged rangies running on 6 cylinders with the owner going on about how he has a lovley V8 and how nice it sounds. Same with cheap V8 series conversions even on 6 cylinders it produces more power than the old unit and is obviously alot lighter. Ok a 3.5 is not going to ever be a big block chevy but it'll do me fine. What was that saying I hear everyone shouting: There is no substitute for CC's and all that.

oh and the driver always wants a bigger cam than the engine needs. la la la.

All has been said that has to be said - safari snorkel on mine, no problem but I only need it to go to Morocco and sandy spain as I live in Gibraltar. I bought a Disco v8 before in the UK when I lived there and he too gave me that excuse. Realised that he hadn't been arsed to fit it properly and wouldn't fit anyway......... Just a thought, as the Safari's although good are a pain to fit.

Have a look on the bore of a normal air filter and the bore on your snorkel - I bet the snorkel is as big if not bigger!

hi well mine is home made and i have made some for other people in my club and being a mechanic for 17 years yes it will work fine just make sure the bore is the same as the air intake dont listen to any other bull****
