can anyone help

i have a 2006 td6 90,000 miles, yestoday i stopped the car for no more than 10 mins and when i tried to re-start the car it just spun over and didnt start ,i got it towed home and tried it a hour later and it started ,it has done it again today so i have changed the secondary pump by the tank and and diesel filter,still it wont start and i have air up at the filter even thow i did fill and prime filter before fitting,i can hear the pump going and priming as the cover is still off.

Is the fuel pump really noisey and gargley or screaming? If yes then it could be injector seals or fuel pump on its way out. If no I'd get it stuck on a diagnostic computer to double check but it sounds like crank sensor.

IF you have air in the system then its not going to start , get all the air bleed out and try it again . Sounds like you have a fuel pipe issue if its bleeding air.

Best to get the fault codes read and take it from there. Live data on the diagnostic will point you in the right direction.
