Hello fellow mudders,
My names Jim and I am a mudaholic. I've just purchased a Defender 90 and need a little help. She has very straight panels and runs smoothly but as with all landies her age (89 F), she is suffering from rust. Most of it is easily dealt with, bodywork cappings, door bottoms etc, you know the kind of thing. My main concern is the rust that is on the section of bodywork between the drivers door and the front side panel. Someone said that this can't be repaired and will affect the bodywork of the vehicle although it looks on first inspection as if this has not taken hold. Are they talking jibberish and it can be repaired? If so, is it a straight forward panel switch or is it a welding job? I'm stuck so if you know about these things please let me know. Many Thanks
Jim
