Ya it won't go to the side ones it does go to the side past the gate it goes into gear easy does that explain anymore

So u think its the plunger even tho it goes side to side 1st to 5th

It's only when u try pushing it over the gate into rev

yes because 5th has its own stop 3rd and 4th use the bias springs 1st and 2nd rest against rev plunger as its sprung out , reverse needs plunger compressing if it seizes it wont compress

Ok so when them two bolts are out the plunger with slide out side ways or witch way

its the only thing bolted on the rhs of gear box selector top as you can see in link i put up
