I have a landrover 90 none turbo I can select 1st to 5th fine but can't get it in reverse I put gearbox fluid in it and the mounts are fine can anyone help me ?
 
take the middle seat bit out and take the plate off.

there's a reverse switch stuck in with two wires on it. make sure someone hasn't screwed it all the way in.

reverse on an lt77 hasnt got synchromesh ,its a sliding idler gear ,rev plunger on drivers side under gear stick turret can seize noticeable by not been able to push gearstick over to the left enough
 
Ok as u see I'm learning lol so take the middle seat out till I can see the transfere box and gear box then what lol
 
yes poking out of gear box top ,when you have lever pushed over for 1st will lever push further against the spring in rev plunger
 
look at the reverse plunger first then unless you can push it fully over it wont go in to rev, its secured with 2 13mm headed bolts usually then you can lube plunger a squeeze it in a vice to free it
 
Cheers bud I'm a pain I no so take middle seat out till I can see the gear box and that I guess have to take the get stick off and that
 
center seat panel needs removing to check rev switch but rev plunger youd need to remove stick and gaiter and foam to get to the 2 securing bolts

My reverse light switch comes out of the rear of the gearstick housing (I think its rev switch)
