Disco 2 Cam cover gasket fitting

Folks I have a victor reinz cam cover gasket. I know fitting is straight forward however should I be using any silicone to seal certain points to be sure of no future leaks?

RAVE says to put a dollop at the back on the half moon shaped part.
Never bother myself, just be careful not to catch the rear part when you put the cover on, feel around the back of the cover after its on to check its not tucked inside.
You dont have to over tighten the bolts as they have inserts.
