yep..no emmisions test on early motors..as long as no excessive smoke as determined by mot examiner..
though i think you will find passing the mot will be the least of the problems that will be incountered in this build..

I refuse to go down an auto route, I just don't like them......yes it wont make a difference to my MPG but a manual is just so much nicer

depending which flat head that transmission came from the flat head v8 was a 65-95 hp motor
but it will save you so much time,money and effort.after all it is a plaything,not your everyday drive is it.
