Not sure you can re-use headgaskets unless they are copper ones mate.

I spent sooooooo lng cleaning and keeping it clean, even when its in the garage between stages its bagged up in a mega poly bag to keep the dust out.

Be carefull mate, some tape on those ports at least

They're tin/composite sandwich but its ok, seems I should be fine if I just vacuum out the inlets as thats all thats been left open :)

The engines in the back of my car now so its nice and clean away from all the dust and grime of the shed!

Will stick some gaffer tape over the ports though

never reuse head gasket..even copper you cant, unless you re aneal it.

as are bolts really...

anyway it will be fine...shame doc didnt glaze bust it,but hey..not our call at the end of the day..i just want it to go good for him, be a right shame if it is a wrong un and needs a rebuild..

he did glazebust it with swarf down the bore, well as soon as it runs :p

and yes I know about annealing them - you always have to black cat people zen :p

I swear I said I wasn't doing anything more engine wise until after Christmas? If not then there you go. So it's a no and there's no point I rushing me because it won't make it happen any sooner, I'll update when I update.

There may be one coming for the transfer box adaptor next week though as I'm dropping off the old gears to get an adaptor cut using their profiles

Not mentioned Doc about until after Christmas. You got several threads related to this project. Maybe it was mentioned on FB. When the delay? You have a dead line to meet

sweet, will do that before I put the inlet back on in that case

Also just found out the LT95 transfer case may fit the muncie box better than the LT230 will. Going to dismantle my LT95 next week and measure up the shaft as I can get a simple cut adaptor made up for half the price of the LT230 one in that case! Means it'll sit flush with the muncie box and I'll have a vacuum diff lock which wouldn't be a bad thing.

hows that gonna work then??

the lt95 gearbox and trandferbox are combined in same feck off heavy unit..they do not seperate..one piece casting
