Disco 2 Bust flexplate.

The noise saga with my D2 has been realised, when i pulled the bell housing cover plate off and saw the massive crack going up the flexplate, upon inspection with my screwdriver i can make it rattle..

So issue #1 found...

My Dilemma is whether to drop the gearbox, or pull the engine out?

I'm working on a gravel drive, so physically pulling the motor would make sense, however what do the eggspurts think..

@jamesmartin any words or wisdom?

I did a l200 gearbox on a concrete drive for the clutch. I don't remember it being that hard but was very very heavy so want to be confident it's on the jack securely.

id pull the engine with bell housing jacked up so tc doesnt slide out
