Bumper mounting bracket

A little while back someone ran into the back of me. Very little damage but this bracket (ANR2381 - Bracket - Bumper Mounting - Genuine Land Rover at www.rimmerbros.co.uk) shattered.

£30 seems a bit excessive for a replacement. Has anyone found or made a reasonable alternative?

I got mine from a breakers, £5 for the pair

My rear cover mounts are rusted solid, come summer i will take the cover off and fabricate some. No big deal.

That's rather it. I would rather pay £80 for a cheap welder and learn how to use it than £60 for two little metal boxes.

T'was a Range Rover (Sport I think) and he drove off in haste. I hope the tow bar damaged his valance/spoiler.

I have the folders, welders and material. Would make a pleasant afternoons work. So no sweat.
