You brits really don't appreciate these cars enough. You know how much they cost in America? Those pictures make me wince....

Probably the same why a Brit jeep lover would wince at the abuse u guys give your own brand 4x4's hey

As for me not appreciating my Landy ............... who the fook are you to judge me?? .......... fookin merkin nipple head!!

Keep watchin this fred .......................... i'm going out again in her this weekend :D :D :D

i really dont understand how you can damage one like that givin the abuse i give mine.

Simple really .....................

You aren't trying hard enuff!!!! :p :D

In all fairness the 200 rear arms are a well known weak point and most people have replaced theirs with 300 ones which are much much tougher ;) :p

The other thing to bear in mind is that my Tonka Toy is a high mileage older Disco that maybe hasn't had the attention to servicing lavished on it that it required ........... hence buying it with a snapped timing belt ;)

Stands to reason that things are gonna break guys n gals ............... 'tis part of the fun fixing em up again dont ya fink?? :p ;)

You could fit a pair of these.. or even mod your new ones to strengthen em. Hull 4x4 :: View topic - TARANTULA arms.

Funnily enough i just strengthened mine yesterday mate ......... nice bit of angle stitched along the bottom edge ;)

Looked at the Tarntula's before but i have the steering damper relocation kit they do and to be honest i'm less than pleased with it ........ very sloppy fit and not well designed IMO :(

Gonna make me own up ;)

it's RUST-OLEUM Combi Color ;)

Got it from local steel supplier £25.32 +vat for 2.5L but i didnt pay that ;)

Supposed to be better than Hammerite ......... they use it on steel structures like industrial units etc so should be good for a few years ;)

just done the rusty bits of mine underneath with a few coats of this

Frost Auto Restoration Techniques - Search Results for granville rust converter

Then a few coats of this

Chassis Black (1 litre)*(P140) - FrostBrandedProducts - Frost Auto Restoration Techniques

will see how that turns out next year, if not lemme know how the blue stuff goes?

Yup .......... we'll compare notes :p :D

Dont think mine will last too long as it's on the 200 and thats my toy and gets treated as such ............... plenty of scrapes me thinks :p
