On wednesday my lights would not turn off and it would not start on its own battery, Jumped it off a mates disco, and started the trip home made it a mile down the road and then it cut out. I rolled to a stop on the side of the road.

Luckily with my insurance I had break down cover and within 15 minutes from the call the recovery vehicle arrived, tried to start it from a booster pack flattened that after one attempt of turning the ignition.
So he loaded it up.

and took the 90 home.

the next morning I put it on charge the light were still on, so disconnected the battery and started to charge it again, left it all day.
Friday Morning connected the battery, lights still on. So I decided to take the fuse's out for the lights and drive it to a auto electric mechanic.
It required a new alternator and some connector block for the side for the side light/dip beam was broke. He bypassed the dip so the side light would only be on by themselves. All fixed in the day and with a fairly small bill.
Also while he was at it he fitted a battery cut off switch for me.
