Broke down on the way to work

Ok when I took the fuel filter off there wasn't any diesel in their ? Fit the new filter & primed with the lift pump until diesel come out of the bleed screw. Took her for a spin and seemed good until 3 minutes later it cut out.

Pulled over and undone the bleed screw and not even a flicker of deisel came out? Primed again and now it's outside the house ? Cheers

Replace the lift pump. They're good for about 100k. Cheap and easy to do.

Put a rag down over the engine mount cos if you drop the bolt down there it's a pain in the proverbial ...

If the lift pump doesnt cure it check under boot carpet to see how the fuel pickup pipes look on top of tank sender.
