Hello all, just wondering if anybody on here lives in France or comes over sometimes? Always nice to say Hi to new people.
Hi from Finistere, thanks for the welcome. Always fancied a look at Burgundy, we try and get at least a little time in the south during the summer holidays. Not sure this current disco would get the caravan passed the end of the drive though!!!! All best GrayHowdy Gray, hailing from Burgundy. Welcome to the forum, give us a shout if you ever get down this way.
Hello and thanks for the reply. Roscoff and the Mont D'arree are great for photography, my hobby too. When it comes to the essential supplies may I recommend Lidl's over here, you may well go "WHAT?" But a lot of the natives use the shop. Give me a shout if you like sometime when you come over we are about an hour from Roscoff so not to far. Have a good day, all best Gray.Welcome, Gray. I go over to Roscoff and sometimes beyond once or twice a year to stock up on essentials, wander around taking photographs and eat different food. Hope you like the forum: most of the natives are really friendly if you need any help.
Hello, we are just about two and half hours north of Nantes but pass through Bordeaux on the annual pilgrimage to get to the dry weather each summer! We must meet up and exchange regional specialities some time, (would be the first to admit crepes and biscuits are not quite as good as a fine red!!) Have a good day all best GrayNow then, 40 minutes north of Bordeaux! Welcome ;-)

Hi, from dept 22 Nr st brieucHello all, just wondering if anybody on here lives in France or comes over sometimes? Always nice to say Hi to new people.
Hi, we were 10k west of Pontivy and have just sold up after eighteen years. There is a super LR specialist just outside Loudeac run by James Barrington, the most amiable and knowledgeable mechanic I have ever known. Always good for a phone call and/or parts and advice.Hi also a bit late to reply from me but south of Pontivy, Morbihan. I have a Classic Range Rover 3.9 Vogue 1990 and Defender 2.5tdi as per photo. Love Landrovers and happy to see other folks that feel the same.
Very sad for the reason we left - my wife is very ill and we needed to centralise all our assets in UK to face the future. But I miss the Bretons, the life there, going out at night to Ponty for a meal and knowing how safe the culture is and how friendly people are. And you come back to UK and find utter disrespect, moronic kids, crap education and dinosaur politics and people.Hi Frenchdame, Sad you sold up? We love it here have been in France over 10 years and presently renovating a watermill. Yes know of James.
