No no no you got it all wrong....the tub's just been angled so on heavy breaking the chips are fed into the cab......I'm thinking of doing this exact alteration

only plugs they could have removed the stripped the thread on during a routine service would be spark I'd have thought ?
Then again they really shouldn't as the torque rating on them is only 15 ish lb/ft which isn't much more than nipped up really
