Can anybody help me please, I'm wanting to upgrade the brakes on my series 3 so that my good lady can drive it ( all seven stone of her). Will I be able to fit a larger servo from a 90 (8") straight onto the master cylinder of my S3?
Any help gratefully received :)

Thanks for that, any particular type of Defender and has anyone written down what else you need to source and change? Really appreciate this info. Ta!

Hi, I've got a servo and 11" drums but was looking for a larger servo. Have read somewhere that a 90 servo is bigger than the one fitted to my series 3 which would no doubt take a little less effort to slow the beast.
Many thanks
Dave

Hi,
Sorry for not being clear, I've got a LWB with 11" drums and a servo but I have read somewhere that a 90 servo will slot straight on to my S3 and it's bigger.
Hopefully this would be a cheap way of helping the old girl stop the old girl.
Have you heard of this being done by anyone?
Many thanks
Dave

You're a star Charles, I'm in Northamptonshire, would you be willing to post it and I'll send you a cheque beforehand? If so can you please weigh it and I'll cost the postage on the web and post a cheque to you.
Many thanks
Dave

Thanks for that, I have seen ads for bolt on discs but without prices, makes me feel they're very expensive and dosh is a little scarce at present.
Dave:(

First we need to be sure it will fit in the space!
I will measure this one and you can assess if it will.
Private message me tomorrow Saturday to remind me.
