I have my new brakes to fit. However last time I removed my wheel the suspension sag was amazing. Do you guys jack under the suspension to lift it enough? Obviously frame or so called customer jack points will not raise the car enough.

Any help appreciated.

Disco bottle jack under lower arm, then axle stand under chassis.
Only need to jack it a little for wheels to clear.
If like D3 as you jack the lower arm the car sees the movement and adds some more air thus lifting the wheel off the ground some more with no effort from yourself.

Is there not a setting on the suspension to lock it?

No idea on the rr? on d3 you just leave a door open or pull the comp fuse.
Car can see door open and will not operate suspension in case it damages someone or something.

P38 leave the tailgate up. Not exactly what meant. Sometimes cars have a transport or maintenance mode that locks the suspension.

You can lock the suspension. However it still drops considerably. I think Jack stand the side I'm working on. Use trolley jack under the side to lift suspension. I cannot think of any other way

I just put a jack under it.
