Brakes failed MOT

The brake rollers are designed for vehicles with 4wd systems, they spin the rollers in opposite directions, as long as you have no diff locks on it will cause no harm at all and you can still get the readings
 
please think before you post. if the rollers allowed one wheel to go backwards then the handbrake would not work at all. reversing rollers are to test freelanders etc with permanent 4x4. you should not test a transmition handbrake on a roller.
 
you can brake a half shaft or the dif, you should never ever use a trans handbrake when the driveshaft is moving
 
Thanks for the advice everyone, just in case you were interested its gone through the test at another garage and they have rated it at 65% on their rollers. Had an argument with the mechanic and he has an answer for everything. Guess ive got a new place to go next year...
