Used to have a mate whose remedy was that. When the radio didn't drown it out then he did something about itthats why i dont like new noises I'm reluctant to turn the radio on to drown it out
And me, since my strokes I find the radio a distraction , full of provincial DJ's and mindless drivel . Probably an age thing.i love music and i used to love music in the car and had an epic sound system. i dont know if i'm just getting older or if its since i learned to ride a bike, but i rarely have the radio on at all in the car now
I find i concentrate a lot more since passing my bike testAnd me, since my strokes I find the radio a distraction , full of provincial DJ's and mindless drivel . Probably an age thing.
Quite wise, you don't want to be an organ donor.I find i concentrate a lot more since passing my bike test
Glad you beat me to it Alan. Just change stroke for heart attack and exactly my sentimentsAnd me, since my strokes I find the radio a distraction , full of provincial DJ's and mindless drivel . Probably an age thing.
4 hours later and its lost all its pressure, ~33s pumping time againpump on for 8 seconds after 30mins. didnt touch the brake pedal in that time
Might be time to find a replacement modulator or it could be the pump which might have a non return valve in the output. Needs a good look in RAVE. Pressure should stay up for a long time, certainly days.4 hours later and its lost all its pressure, ~33s pumping time again
You tried breakers?Looks like i won't be getting a replacement abs modulator unless i win the lottery! Non on eBay at any price!
Anyone know if i can take mine off and refurb? Or are they pressed/sealed units?
I'm on the case...You tried breakers?
Remind me, what year is your car?I'm on the case...
It's a 2000 4.0 HSERemind me, what year is your car?
If it's a year 2000, it's 4 wheel TC unless it's a special. Shame, if you had an early car, I have a spare modulator. The sticker on my unit says SXC100000 not sure if it's 2 or 4wd TC

I think my ecu is ok. In a fit of madness i decided to buy a backup off eBay, it arrived, didn't work. It's still at on my desk!! Last i got money back no issueExpensive but the good news is the modulator has steel not plastic washers. ABS ECU has been known to fail on those though. Again, Marty knows where.
