Classic Brake fluid reservoir plug

This is one of those silly questions but does anybody know what type of plug is attached to the cap on the brake fluid reservoir - it's a 3 way plug/connector and do you think I can identify it!!

It doesn't really look like a Junior Power Housing, can't see anything to match in TE connectors or other types I have scrolled through - so frustrating!

I found a reference to a part number for the link lead PRC6388 but it is obsolete. All I need is the plug.

Why I hear you ask, well the thing is 29 years old and the wires have gone brittle and one of them has snapped where it is crimped on to the terminal inside the plug so a new plug is needed; you just know the other two wires are about to go the same way and the chances of successfully removing the terminals from the housing are, well, errrrmmmmm low.
I did think of using ordinary crimp terminals but there really isn't enough clearance to do this. Any help appreciated.

Thanks for the thought but unfortunately NO.
The cap is fine, I need the plug to connect the 3 wires to the terminals on the cap if that makes sense?
If it comes to it I suppose I will need to find a breaker and cut the wiring plug off or maybe remove the harness complete.

Is it similar to the black cap or yellow cap? ;)
The black cap is also used on the mg tf 2001 onwards.

The yellow one. If I can't get the right plug I will have to try and remove the terminals from the plug housing and see if I can replace them rather than the whole plug.

Really it is no big deal but just one of those things that is both irritating and frustrating.
 
Take a picture for of your one as u have an mg tf I at the moment for repairs, if it's the same then you know you can get one possibly from an mg. Maybe? I hope so. ;)

The plug appears to be similar shape to that fitted on my D1 but then its no often i go there, i’d post a photo of it but u already have a few :)
If it came to the crunch you can do with out, my 1987 RR was fitted just with a round cap.
Or replace with new spade terminals then fill the socket with hot glue to form a plug/bung.
No part number as i can see fo the D1 plug, so its must be part of a loom no doubt thats obsolete as well.

Thanks, for sure that is the same cap/plug but on the RRC with ABS there are 3 wires in the plug. I like the idea of maybe using some hot glue to form some sort of plug. If I can't get the right part I guess an acceptable bodge/lash up to make it work is the only option unless anyone has a scrapper they could cut the plug off and send it over?

Anyway, thanks for the interest and some lateral thinking.
