I agree, there's no need to jack up the vehicle, maybe only to get the wheel off so you can get better access tot he bleed nipple.
soak your bleed nipples with a bit of WD40 if they are looking a bit rusted on. if they look well rusted on, be a goo idea to have a bag of spare ones to hand, just in case you mangle them.
More-grips are a good idea to have at hand if they prove to be stubborn buggers.
try not to loose the rubber caps from ont he bleed nipples, they're good for keeping the crud out.
I'd get about a litre of DOT-4, just in case of balls-ups
when you start bleeding, work from the passenger rear wheel, then driver rear, then front passenger, then front driver.
I used a ezibleed kit with mine, and it made life a F**k-load easier.
