Looks like troll post has been deleted Keith, if you delete yours it will kill the link.
Back from the dead:clap2::clap2:
Dredging up this old thread, I just fitted Britpart calipers to my spare P38. All looked good, so bled them with help from mate.
Didn't realise until wheels re-fitted, but the front calipers are 5mm bigger in the centre, and foul on the wheel rims.
Have sent email with pictures off to Island-4x4 to see what they are gonna do.

New pictures of Lucas & Britpart calipers. Studding was as straight as I could get it. Waiting for Island to respond !!
FYI, they have checked other Britpart & Eurospares calipers in their warehouse, and apparently all of them are 70mm thick at the centre. Now waiting for them to check the position of the lugs.

Hee hee,View attachment 234464 Now Now . . . .
Britpart one is 5mm thicker when those two edges line up. Didn't bother lining up with your extra useless part.
Hee hee,
It doesn't make sense why there would be a difference?? Could they be different on the later models with 18" wheels?
Early Dhse models where fitted with 255/65/16's before the 18" arrived and the other models had 235's.No, I've seen similar issues with 16" rims although I cannot remember now if they were 7J rims rather than 8J - some early P38s had 7J rims, presumably using up stock from the Classic.
