Hi

Its been a while. I posted a hello a few weeks back but have only recently found my freelander. Its a 2002 td4 3 door. It was cheap so I expected there to be some fixing to do... (partner unimpressed that I didnt test drive it first ) however, its here & it simply needs an ird and viscous coupling . Partner has removed the prop shaft to check it all out and believes he can do the work himself with an extra pair of hands. Question is, & I know its been discussed before on various threads, can anyone recommend where to buy these parts (re-conditioned) ??
Feel free to mock me on my lack of test drive but if you do I would like some friendly advice in return :p

ere Hippoo - yu gorra copy of tech bulletin 0052?

Not to thread-ninja but.....

Doesnt the bulletin merely state to check the HP fuel rail sensor for corrosion and drag test the pins. If no fault is found but still HP fuel rail plausibility errors occur, yet the engine runs fine, it is likely a fault with the sensor / wiring.

JLR made a modified HP fuel rail sensor which also required the changing of the adapter and additionally made available an overlay harness which goes directly from the sensor to the PCM (via a hole you drill into the Ebox).
