P38A Bottom ball joints steering.

If you're using a G clamp type balljoint press to get them out spray a liberal amount of white grease on the threads and wind it in and out to cover evenly before starting. Once it's under a lot of pressure it might pop with a sharp smack with the old Irish spanner.
CV joint grease is advised, @J L Carr you should have got one of these before you started.pity your not closer

The problem is this bottom ball joint is completely seized within the adjuster nut and won't come out, I have all the presses and clamp but until this 1 comes out there's nothing I can do.

hit the housing on the side directly opposite the pin, it stretches the housing momentarily and releases the taper,large hammer and proper hits not little taps,it needs a large shock
 
Myself and my son spent over 5 hours hitting the bleeding thing ranging from a 25oz ball pain hammer all the way up to a 4 llb club hammer and nothing, we had heat on it and later I got my freezer kit out and still it sat there, so garage it is and someone else can have the grief of doing them.

Don't take it to John Dennis 4x4 unless you want him to rape your wallet and **** a few more things up on the way.
