Went to see clive at Black Sheep Offroad yesterday and have arranged for him to fit one of he`s excellent crossmembers on Friday, i wasnt planning on replaceing it for a while but when i heard he was moving premises and would no longer be able to fit them i had to get it done a bit sooner. He had one sitting on a bench and its an even better looking bit of kit in the flesh, at least thats one of the bigger jobs out of the way.

I bought one off of him a while ago, Ive just had it galvanised and its looks the bollacks

I purchased one last month
its still on the shelf in the garage,
but Agreed it is a great bit of kit, and bloody heavy

What's the best protection for it, i was thinking waxoil the chassis and inside the cross member and prime the visible side then black satin finish what do you recon

Is he still doing the HD track rods? I've got his rear x member and front bumper. I can't seem to get on his website now.

He told me he was doing one tomorrow, i shall be dropping mine down there at about 3 to 3.30 for him to do on Friday. Have a look at the td5 cross member at the back of the lorry, i couldn't believe the state of it.

I'm sure i saw on he's website that he did full external cages to supply and fit not sure if he's gonna still do them after he moves, best give him a ring

Once i get it fitted the motor is rock solid so can just fart around with the cosmetics then, even the old 19j is running like a dream
