That’s for a defender but should still fit the series , sure my bonnet only touches at the catch and hinges
The problem with a canvas seal is that it will hold moisture which may cause rusting

Probably but it would need redoing occassionaly. Can you wax them ?

It’s a fiver a meter at Woolies trim. Just look for door side seal.£38 for a rubber seal!
How is the water getting past the clutch pedal box? Unless that drain channel is missing large chucks or missing completely, I can't see that being at fault.
A bit late in the day I know but just a way of diverting the waterhi folks, in the joys of pouring rain and howling winds that constitute ‘summer’ in Argyll, I’m having to use the Series as a daily driver as my other cars in the garage Have discovered an annoying leak through the clutch pedal (its an LHD) and I was wondering if there should be some sort of seal between the bonnet and bulkhead, I’ve attached pics of mine which looks a bit naked! I never thought of this before as we lived in the Canaries where rain was vanishingly rare....Thanks all View attachment 266937View attachment 266938View attachment 266939
