is there meant to be some kind of seal between the bonnet an the bulkhead? Alls I’ve got is a wee metal channel that runs along the bulkhead and funnels the water nicely into the footwell....
 
It’s a left hander and doesn’t have a heater...I’ve plugged all the unused holes,in the bulkhead. It’s coming in through the clutch box from above looks like it’s running off the wee metal channel between the bonnet and the bulkhead
 
Is the rubber seal fitted and ok

^^ that was going to be my suggestion. If it is coming through the clutch mechanism. That should be sealed between the bulkhead and the pedal assembly. I do not have any further seals and do not get any leaks. (Other than standardnissue Land Rover) from The bulkhead.
 
It’s very tight round there, worth a look though , might be easier undoing all the bolts and slipping a new gasket in place if it’s missing
 
There’s only one channel underneath the bonnet to direct the water out the side. If it’s coming in around the pedal heights that’s totally different. Are the mud shields still there? The bulkhead is protected by the mud shields and they have bolts though to the lower bulkhead foot wells to secure them.

Ah now that’s a thought. Didn’t think about that. Don’t think they are....will check!
 
It may be possible to unbolt the pedal box bolts and slip the rubber gasket over the pedal and up through into the gap between the pedal box and bulkhead. That way the pedal box may not need to be entirely removed.
 
Is it leaking whilst parked up? If it is the mud shields shouldn't be the problem, although worth putting washers between the bulkhead and the mud shield at some point.
