Am having a mare trying to get hold of the following:
- front rocker shaft bolt
- rear seatbelt harness bolts x2 (torx head, fix to chassis under rear floor)
-sedimentor top bolt

No scrappys near me have any discos and I had a shock today when calling LR Parts in liverpool ->

They will only supply rocker shaft bolts in a pack of 10 even though I only need 1.
25 pounds!!
Rear seatbelt bolts 15pound each?!! Apparently there's a big demand for 'em
They couldn't help with sedimentor top bolt.
Oh, and asked for a price on the rear injector ( one with wire attached, nearest bulkhead) 185 pounds!

Have been keeping my eye on fleabay and various landy parts companies in magazines etc and no joy.
Anyone have any ideas? Or even better have any of the above for sale?
I have a disco nearly ready to be put back together again.. :D

The sedimentor is a standard CAV filter assembly with the filter cartridge replaced with a staright bit of pipe. Find your local diesel injection specialist and they'll probably have a spare bolt somewhere. And while you're at it, give them the injector to test and service.
Sorry, can't help with the rest of it.

Think the sedimenter top bolt is a standard M8 .. can't remember the length ... but I didn't buy a LR one, i just had one 'around' ... new of course ... and looking in the shed it could be M8 x 40, 50 or 75 mm as that's all the new bolts I have available!!!

;)

I think the previous owner on my disco had the same problem trying to find bolts for the seat belt anchor points when he did the boot...as they are welded! lol

Land Rover Parts, Accessories, Sales in West Yorkshire, UK - Simmonites I live down the road from them and looked at the website and thought that they didn't do much but called by one day and they have new parts on the shelf including all the bolts the Land Rover couldn't get.

Also HELLO AND WELCOME — 4 x Forty One - Land Rover, Range Rover parts, spares and accessories They too are close to me and braking them all the time so have everything you need second hand.

Only problem with seat belt bolts are that they were crap and the torq heads give way as they tend to be rusty to hell on the other side and require been cut off thus they cant be reused.

I got some from B&Q and they were very strong but my also weld the fittings to be double sure!

Land Rover prices are stupid! My air con tensioner wheel had a noisey bearing, but you are supposed to by the complete unit! 260 euro plus tax @16%!! Yeh right I don't think so, popped along to a local bearing supplier 26 euros all in, swapped the bearing and a now for a quiet drive along the dry river bed to check it all out, click this link:
