P38A Boge or Terrafirms shocks?

I have a 2001 P38 with stock suspension. I drive almost exclusively on the road, not got the time or inclination to go traipsing about off road.

I'm fairly happy with the ride, but it does tend to feel like it's about to tip over if you take a corner at any speed.... now I know there's going to be a bit of that, it's the nature of the car, but I just want to see if I can reduce it a bit. Before I shell out for a set of Arnott generation 3 airbags, I wondered about changing the shocks.

I've narrowed it down to the Boge ones, or the Terrafirma, both of which seems to be about 25 to 30 quid a corner.

Anyone got any experience with either of those, specifically on the road? I'm looking for a decent mix of soaking up bumps without wallowing about too much in the corners ideally.

Boge and slow down on corners mine never feels like that.
 
I have the terra's, at standard length. Stiffer but at the sacrifice of buffeting along!!
I did install poly bushes on the roll bar which has helped a little.
As the Wizard says "slowdown"....
I also had problems with the terra's ripping the studs out of the bottom tube, all replaced under warranty thankfully... I might well go back to boge once ive had good use of these, but then i do a bit of off roading with it so my requirements differ to yours?!:p;)
 
I've had both, Boge is best. Don't think the Arnott 3 springs will make that much difference but let us know how you get on.

The torsion bar etc are all connected?
 
+1 on boge and a fresh set of standard Dunlop bags and make sure the heights are set up correctly.
I've just done 450 miles across Germany today at mainly 80-90mph and even though it was blowing a gale it never felt unstable.
Yes, there's a bit of lean in bends but far from excessive for such a tall heavy car.
My old escorts and cortinas rolled far more in the bends!
If it makes you feel uneasy in the bends, there's something wrong with it or you're driving beyond your (and/or the car's) capabilities.
