Thank you for clarifying. Obviously your first post made it sound like a p*ss take. I should think the best people to ask are your local dealer. Especially as you are buying a one year old car,they will be desperate to keep on your good side. Actually, that's a bit unfair, my local stealer is really good with the Golden Girl, the only problem is the prices they charge for the simplest job. Even with my standing discount for labour and parts.
If you buy now and trade in a couple of years , should a new model appear, you may lose some money but what would you do in the intervening period, drive something inferior, lease and lose money, not drive?
Take the plunge if you like and want the L405, you might not like the next incarnation.
