the smoke is.......is it blue....?
Is the crank case filter the one at the front of the engine looks a bit like a bottle (or old SU carb shape.) or is this just the oil filter?As you can probably tell i'm pretty new to all of this
Ok , gotcha , that one has been changed for one of the newer bow type so which is the pcv filter then
No. It's very easy to remove and should really be cleaned out properly every service. The EGR valve causes the inlet manifold to gunk up solid with thick soot. This is the most likely cause of blue smoke, if everything else is OK.As far as i know the manifold has never been off. As i am new at this game, is it a difficult job to remove
