Good afternoon it has been a long time science I have been logged on, I have had a freelander 1 and the I had a freelander 2 was very happy with them and now have now got a Range Rover Evoque Automatic 2 Litre Diesel five door very happy with it but the, Blind spot not working just a yellow spot in the left mirror it some time comes on and off and the waring triangle on the information centre .any one who can help please.

The yellow spot is a 'self test' and should be there when stationary, disappearing when above 3km/h. There are a few possible causes, defective mirrors, defective RADAR behind the sides of the rear bumper, defective / corroded / damaged wiring to the RADAR sensors, loose or damaged sensors / mountings. Unless you enjoy wasting time & money, you need to have some form of OBD diagnostics that can interrogate all vehicle systems, not just the 'big four'.

Good evening thank you for your input I have put a OBD on and it gave no codes the yellow spot is on all the time when driving it is only on the left mirror and not on the right mirror it is a annoyance .
Thank once more.

Then it could be the right mirror LED module is faulty - which would set a DTC, are you sure can you read all modules?

You should be looking for SODL & SODR on MS-CAN (co). It's not unusual for 'low voltage' DTC's to be stored, these only register during cranking and don't affect functionality.
These modules are VIN coded so will throw U2100 or U3002 codes if the module is improperly coded or swapped from another vehicle.

Good afternoon with refence to my last post about the Blind Spot Mirror I have had to take it to my local garage ,he has a very large OBD meter so I booked it in ,and this morning took it in and within twenty minuets he found a hundred and fifty nine codes he then took the car for a run it seems to be ok now all working very happy with it.
I thank Graulus for his in put and the the landy zone for all the help.
Moonraker.
