Evening all!
As I'm about to pour more money in to my Freelander 2, I have decided to give it a bloody good clean.
What's the best plastic restorer? There are so many to choose from! I have door handles and a front scuttle to restore as they've turned a dull shade of grey.
Thanks in advance đź‘Ť

Try a hot air paint stripper on an inconspicuous area.
Can often make plastics like that look good again.
Don't go mad with the heat!

When I get chance, I'll give things a bloody good clean and try out my newly acquired Gtech C4. Will let you know how it goes đź‘Ť

I've used black shoe polish for grey ABS trim on my Classic. Lasts well & looks good, the downside being you can use up an entire tin if the plastic is really grey & disposable gloves are essential as the polish is a real sod to wash off your hands

I genuinely considered using black boot polish! I wasn't sure how it would stand up to washing though.
I be weary of Drill Sargent passing by and pulling you up for not able to see his face🤣🤕

got it free from work ...

I've tried a couple of overpriced restorers, never been that impressed with the results despite the price tag.
Think I'll stick with the boot polish, if it's good enough for the parade ground .. ;)
