Birthday of my 90.... ?

just something special - is there a possibility to find out about the history of my 90 ?

VIN- decoders say its a 1983 / 84 built one... first registration here in germany was in october 1987.

if thres a proof it´s older than 30 years i could get that "important historical vehicle" registration with almost no taxes...

Don't post yer vin number on ere.

Thats´s what i checked - and some other VIN-Decoders... all say it would be a 83 / 84 model . but the authorities here want a document with the date of first use / registration.

that´s want they want - for example : if you find a treasured gullwing - mercedes from the 50 ´s that was never registrated you wont get a historical registration...doesnt matter what year the car was made...

but in a lucky case i maybe could find out that it was produced in 1983 and sold in 84... - with some good will from the registration guy he will accept the first use for the year 1984...

i know that car industries built cars and they may have been sold a year or two later - but to me its kind of strange that they stored the ninety for 3 - 4 years before it was sold...

maybe i should ask landrover itself if they know about the date it was sold ? or at least shipped to a dealer ?
